Ace AI instructor is infinitely better than the existing prerecorded, outdated videos that every pilot has had to use at some point in their aviation career. The unlimited interaction with the AI is a much better way for students to learn, myself included.

A good pilot is always learning.

Even the best instructor doesn't know everything, but the AI gets to pull on this infinite amount of information and can answer literally any question you come up with. The sky is the limit.

My name is Alex Evans. I'm a flight instructor. I'm also an instrument instructor and I've been flying for about six years now.

I think just about every little boy likes airplanes or is interested in airplanes. I didn't pursue it until later because I thought when when I was little, I thought you had to be in the military to learn to fly airplanes. And that couldn't be further from the truth. During Covid, I used to work in sales, and I had customers all over the United States and a couple in Canada. I did a lot of travel and overnight that all disappeared. So I ended up with a lot of free time on my hands.

It was actually my father in law who said, Alex, you won't shut up about airplanes. Why don't you go learn to fly one? Oh, I didn't think that was a possibility. So I took my first flight lesson and was instantly hooked. And now I love it so much that I'm. I actually said goodbye to my 9 to 5. I quit my 9 to 5.

I'm pursuing this as a second career. I think it's a very freeing experience. I think it opens up an entire world of possibilities. You can get in your airplane and go almost anywhere you want. You can do so much more than you ever could in a car.

My dream is to one day fly my family somewhere for a vacation and, explore the world together like that.

I think being an instructor is very rewarding. I love seeing the light bulb go off in my student's head when they connect ideas, and when they finally connect the dots, that's there's no better feeling.

Why do I like ACE?

It's a convenient one stop shop for all of your aviation tools to free included. These six B sectional charts and fairing are phenomenal. I really love with the far M how you can use AI tools to search any thing that you would like, and have it give you auto populated results. It's really convenient.

And of course, I also love the AI chatbot feature, which is ace itself. Being able to use it as a student save some time from a ground lesson and it saves me time as an instructor, not having to text them back and forth to these little questions.

I'm Nick Parslow, I'm flying for about five and a half years since my 16th birthday. I've always loved airplanes. When I was two years old, I took my first commercial flight and I was glued to the window watching the jets taxiing around. So my first discovery flight when I was 16, in Colorado Springs, and I knew I was hooked right then and there. So I came back home to Albany, started flying a little red and blue Piper Cherokee.

Eventually got my private pilot's license. Then I went to school in Florida, and I got my instrument rating, my commercial certificate, and my commercial multi rating there with the school. I did my flight instructor rating and then my instrument instructor rating afterward.

Now I am a Flight Instructor at Hewison Aviation https://hewisonaviation.com. I love the challenge of training as an instructor, sometimes it's difficult try to get people past certain roadblocks in their training. I love seeing them progress through those roadblocks from the start to the end, seeing their progression.

My goal is always to have been an airline pilot. I've always dreamt of that lifestyle. I also want to be an aircraft owner, able to fly my family around for vacation or just for leisure travel, and I do think I'll still stick with the flight instruction on the side. It's a very fun job!
